    (hereinafter referred to as the “Release Agreement”)
    BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT YOU WILL WAIVE OR GIVE UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS,
    INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE FOR NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR BREACH OF THE OCCUPIERS’ LIABILITY ACT OR CLAIM COMPENSATION FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT
    PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
    This Release Agreement shall apply to all subsequent pass & card renewals.


  • TO: Dagmar Resort Ltd. & MY Snow School Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, instructors, agents, representatives, volunteers, independent contractors, subcontractors, sponsors, successors and assigns (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Releasees”).

    SECTION 1: ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISKS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

    I am aware that skiing, snowboarding and participating in snow school lessons, clinics and sessions (collectively referred to as the “Activity”) involve many risks, dangers and hazards including, but not limited to: boarding, riding and disembarking ski lifts; changing weather conditions; avalanches; exposed rock, earth, ice, and other natural objects; trees, tree wells, tree stumps and forest deadfall; the condition of snow or ice on or beneath the surface; negligent first aid; failure to act safely or within one’s own ability or to stay within designated areas; negligence of other persons; and RISKS RESULTING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR BREACH OF ANY STATUTORY DUTY OF CARE ON THE PART OF THE RELEASEES. I UNDERSTAND THAT NEGLIGENCE INCLUDES FAILURE ON THE PART OF THE RELEASEES TO TAKE REASONABLE STEPS TO SAFEGUARD OR PROTECT ME FROM, OR WARN ME OF, THE RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS. I also understand that other risks include variations in the terrain which may create blind spots or areas of reduced visibility; variations in the surface or sub-surface, including changes due to man-made or artificial snow; variable and difficult conditions; streams, creeks, and exposed holes in the snow pack above streams or creeks; cliffs; crevasses; snowcat roads, road-banks or cut-banks; collision with lift towers, fences, snow making equipment, snow grooming equipment, snowcats, snowmobiles or other vehicles, equipment or structures; encounters with domestic and wild animals including dogs and bears; exposure to INFECTIOUS DISEASE CONTRACTED THROUGH VIRUSES, BACTERIA, PARASITES, AND FUNGI WHICH MAY BE TRANSMITTED THROUGH DIRECT OR INDIRECT CONTACT; collision with other persons; loss of balance or control; slips, trips and falls; and accidents during participation in the Activity. I am also aware that the risks, dangers and hazards referred to above exist throughout and beyond the ski area and that many hazards are unmarked.

    SECTION 2: ASSUMPTION OF RISKS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

     

    I FREELY ACCEPT AND FULLY ASSUME ALL THE RISKS, HAZARDS, AND DANGERS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE (AS SET OUT IN SECTION 1) WHILE ENGAGED IN OR AS A RESULT OF MY VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITY

  • SECTION 3: RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT.
    THESE CONDITIONS WILL AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

     

    IN CONSIDERATION OF the Releasees accepting my application for a Season Pass and permitting my use of the lifts, ski runs, trails, terrain parks, race courses, restaurants, day lodge, parking, access roads and other ski area facilities (hereinafter “the premises”), I hereby agree as follows:
    1. I AM GIVING UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE, that arise or result from in whole or in part, participating in the Activity and, without limitation, claims arising out of or resulting from THE NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF ANY DUTY OF CARE OWED BY THE RELEASEES UNDER THE OCCUPIERS’ LIABILITY ACT;
    2. WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS THAT I HAVE OR MAY HAVE IN THE FUTURE against the Releasees;
    3. RELEASE THE RELEASEES FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, EXPENSE, AND INJURY AND DEATH, INCLUDING ANY CLAIM FOR CONTRIBUTION AND INDEMNITY, that I may suffer from my participation in the Activity DUE TO ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT AND ANY DUTY OF CARE OWED TO ME BY THE RELEASEES UNDER THE OCCUPIERS’ LIABILITY ACT. I UNDERSTAND THAT NEGLIGENCE INCLUDES THE FAILURE ON PART OF THE RELEASEES TO TAKE REASONABLE STEPS TO SAFEGUARD OR PROTECT ME FROM OR WARN ME OF THE RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS REFERRED TO ABOVE; and
    4. INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the Releasees from any and all liability, including claims for contribution and indemnity, for any damage to property of or personal injury to, any third party, resulting from my, or my family member or next of kins, use of the Releasees’ property or participation in the Activity.

     

  • 5. AGREEMENT BINDING - This Release Agreement shall be effective and binding upon my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, assigns and representatives, in the event of my death or incapacity;
    6. JURISDICTION - This Release Agreement and any rights, duties and obligations as between the parties to this Release Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted solely in accordance with the laws of Ontario and no other jurisdiction. Any litigation involving the parties to this Release Agreement shall be brought solely within Ontario, and shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Ontario; and
    7. SEVERABILITY - If any provision of this Agreement is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, such determination shall not impair or affect the validity, legality or enforceability of the remaining provisions hereof, and each provision is hereby declared to be separate, severable and distinct.


    In entering into this Release Agreement, I am not relying upon any oral or written representations or statements made by the Releasees with respect to the safety of skiing or snowboarding other than what is set forth in this Agreement.

    The Season Pass issued to the Passholder is the property of Dagmar Resort Ltd. & MY Snow School Inc., is not transferable, not for resale and is revocable for misconduct or breach of the Alpine Responsibility Code.

• Your 8-Week Program includes 7 Lessons & 1 Ski Day • Program Lessons will NOT take place on Family Day Weekend. • Your Ski Day – Program Passes are valid on Mar. 06 or 07 for skiing or snowboarding. • All programs require pre-registration. • Please Register Early. • Program Passes are included in the program fee and are valid open to close on the day of your program. • Programs can be closed at any time prior to start dates as a result of full participation. • Lessons and Programs WILL RUN IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS. • Please plan your dress accordingly to Dagmar’s weather conditions and daily forecast • There are NO REFUNDS for late or missed lessons. • A Make-Up-Day with a lesson is provided on Mar.06 or 07 if Dagmar Ski Resort Must Close on your program day. • One extra ski day is available without a lesson on Mar.13 or 14 weekend for parents who miss a class due to extreme cold temperature such as -25 without the wind chill. • If a Make-Up-Day is provided on March 06 or 07, you ski day will be held on March. 13 or 14. • Programs MUST be cancelled a minimum of 3 weeks prior to start date. • All refund services include a non-refundable administration fee of $53.10 plus HST per person • There are no refunds once the program starts. • Refunds for special exceptions; with a Doctor’s Note, a pro-rated amount may be credited less administration fee. • Helmets are Mandatory for all program participants. STRICTLY PROHIBITED • PARENTS & VISITORS MUST NOT BE WALKING ON THE SNOW. • All Parents and Guests MUST HAVE A VALID TICKET. • Please RESPECT this very important safety notice. Where you may be walking, without realizing it, could be THE SKIERS & SNOWBOARDERS LANES and are strictly for the skiers/riders and not for a casual walk-about. For the safety of everyone, please abide to this rule. Failure to abide will result in having to leave the premises. We understand the importance of being with your child. • Dagmar has introduced a Special Walking Ticket; that is available for purchase for non-skiing parents to use at the Magic Carpet Area Only. You will be required to understand the responsibility of staying within the bounds of the Magic Carpet. Please see details in the Private Lesson Section of our brochure or website.

Refund Policy Including Covid-19 & Terms and Conditions

COVID-19 Refund Policy
Should Government and/or Health Authorities require Dagmar Resort Ltd. to close
• prior to or after opening the your products may be deferred to 2021/2022 season or the following refund/credit policies will apply:
Prior to Opening Day:
• 100% refund for payments received by E-transfer or Cheque
• 90% refund for Credit Card purchases or 100% Refund on Dagmar Gift Card

After Opening Day and for the Remainder of the Season:
Season Passes
Credit notes will be applied towards the next season 21/22 in the following amounts
December 15th to January 01st, 2021 - 70%
January 2nd - February 01st 2021 - 40%
February 2nd - March 01st 2021 - 20%
March 2nd - March 15th 2021 – 10%

Programs and Camps:
Will be pro-rated by the number of cancelled days and credit notes will be applied to next season

Please be advised that at any given time during the Covid-19 Pandemic

  1. Days and hours of operation may vary; always check ahead before visiting.
  2. Limit the daily number of skiing/boarding guests indoors and outdoors.
  3. The number of daily non skiing guests will be restricted.
  4. Require all guests, including pass-holders, to “sign-in” for contact tracing purpose.

Dagmar Refund Policy
Refunds are not guaranteed and are at the sole discretion of Dagmar Management. If a refund is approved a $53.10 +HST administration fee will be applied to each item refunded. No Refunds after December 1st.

Season Pass & Programs:
You will receive a refund, less $53.10 +HST Administration fee for each pass or program if you request a refund before December 01; You may request in writing to transfer the pass or program to next the season. After December 01, there will be NO REFUNDS. Once a purchase is made it is your responsibility to pick-up at your convenience when Dagmar is open. All products expire at season’s end.

During Ski Season:
To receive a prorated Credit Note for the next season Pass or Program due to accident or illness, it is solely at the discretion of Dagmar Management and a doctor’s note may be required. The Seasons Pass must be returned.

Discover Programs, Lift Ticket, Area Lift Ticket and Rental Equipment:
No refunds will be issued, but may be used the following season with authorization from Dagmar If there is an increase in price the difference may be paid.

Coupon Books, 8 Packs of Lift Tickets and Packs of Lessons.

No Refunds will be issued. Products expire at season’s end.
Lost Product will NOT be replaced. You are responsible for your product after purchase.
Lift Tickets that fall off or are lost:
Lost ticket will NOT be replaced. You are responsible for your ticket after purchase.

CONDITIONS OF SEASON PASS, PROGRAMS & ALL PRODUCTS OR SERVICES PURCHASED

  1. Dagmar Resort Limited reserves the right to revoke or remove the season pass privileges or any person not complying with ski area rules. This includes bad behaviour and foul language. The season pass or ticket may be removed by any of our Management or the Ski Patrol.
  2. Season Pass & Tickets must be worn on the arm or jacket while skiing and visible to Dagmar Staff. Loops are provided; Arm-Bands are available for sale. Keeping your Pass safe is your responsibility.
  3. Season Passes are NOT TRANSFERABLE. Attempted transfer will result in the immediate removal and termination of the pass.
  4. Lost or Stolen Season Passes must be reported immediately to the office. A charge of $75.00 will apply for a first time replacement, a second replacement is 50% of pass cost.
  5. If a Season Pass is forgotten, a lift ticket must be purchased. Regular rates will be charged for occurrences.
  6. Season Passes are not refundable. Passes or tickets are not prorated.
  7. Season Passes or any other products not picked up, will NOT be refunded or credited. Once a purchase is made it is your responsibility to pick-up at your convenience when Dagmar is open. All products expire at season’s end.
  8. Cash, E-transfer, Cheques, Visa or MasterCard are accepted. NO CHEQUES after December 1st.
  9. Each purchased product is subject to a non-refundable administration fee of $53.10 +HST at the sole discretion of Dagmar Resort.
  10. All purchases made in error or duplicated are subject to administration fees.
  11. Parent or guardian’s signature is required for persons under 18 years of age.

o The nature of our sport of skiing/snowboarding is a physically distanced outdoor activity!
o You are in open outdoor spaces, and in fresh air.
o You already wear face coverings, gloves and goggles as a main component of your skiing attire!
o You can play in an outdoor activity and take advantage of the mental and physical benefits
o Lesson experiences are outdoors, not indoors!
HELP KEEP OUR SKI SEASON SAFE: GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES
o A safe snow experience is the responsibility of everyone
o Guests are expected to adhere to the Government hygiene, cleanliness and physical distancing guidelines as well as the guidelines outlined by Dagmar Resort Ltd. and My Snow School Inc.

AT HOME WELLNESS CHECK:

GENERAL WELLNESS RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Frequent Hand washing and sanitization is necessary. Use hand washing/sanitizing stations provided.
o Practice physical distancing of 2 metres between non-household members.
o Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose and mouth
o Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or sneeze/cough into your elbow
o Stay informed on Covid-19 information and updates
o Mask wearing is mandatory while indoors and must be worn outdoors when physical distancing of 2 meters is not available
o Follow all signage and directional signs at Dagmar Resort Ltd. and physical distance markers on the floors for yours and others wellbeing.
o Clean and wash PPE and personal sports equipment/clothing frequently
TO PROVIDE THE SAFEST LESSON EXPERIENCE FOR OUR GUESTS AND OUR EMPLOYEES:
o CHILDREN AGE 3 AND 4: As a result of the impacts to the season from Covid-19 and to provide the safest experience for our guests and employees, group lessons will not be offered to children age 3 and 4. Private and semi-private lesson options are available.

o LESSON PROGRAM PHOTOS: Unfortunately photos for program passes will no longer be taken in-house. PLEASE EMAIL A PHOTO A MINIMUM OF 1 WEEK PRIOR TO THE START DATE OF THE PROGRAM. This applies to participants in our 8-week programs only.

o PARKING: Find a designated parking space in the parking lot.

o CHANGING INTO CLOTHING/EQUIPMENT: Please use your car as your “base camp” for changing clothing and equipment as much as possible this season! The lodge capacity will be limited this season. A quick-changing room will be available in the West Lodge with limited space and a time limit of 10 minutes of use. Storage options for personal items will not be available.

o READY TO SKI: Be dressed and ready to ski! Please prepare your child to be outdoors for the duration of the lesson (1 hour or 1.5 hours). Dress appropriately for the weather!

o PPE: Face coverings, gloves and eye protection are mandatory to be worn during the lesson. An appropriate face covering for skiing can include a neck buff, balaclava, neck warmer or face mask. We understand this may be difficult for children under the age of 6. Please try to get your child used to wearing a winter mask and eye protection.

o EXTRA TIME: Please be kind and patient this season! With capacity restrictions, your wait time could be longer. Please plan ahead.

o THE LODGE: 1 Adult per child may enter the lodge (if needed) for purchasing, washroom use, rental equipment pick up, food & beverage. Masks are mandatory to be worn inside the lodge at all times. Sanitize hands before entering the lodge. All other additional family members must remain outdoors.

o VIEWING THE LESSON: Yes you can view lessons….outdoors! Lessons can be viewed in the designated viewing areas. Please limit the numbers of viewers as we have capacity restrictions outdoors. Walking on the snow and around the slopes is not permitted. A Parent Walking Ticket can be purchased for non-skiing parents for use on the Magic Carpet area once the lesson is finished.

o LESSON MEETING AREAS: Lesson signs are big, clear and physically distanced. Look for them at the bottom of the Magic Carpet lift.

o WASHROOM BREAKS: If your child requires to use the washroom during the lesson, you will be called on your cell phone to take them. The Instructor cannot take children to the washroom this season.

o COLD CHILDREN: If your child is cold during a group lesson and the rest of the group is not cold, you will be called on your cell phone to adjust clothing. If the whole group is cold, the group will enter the lodge and sit at physically distanced seating areas. We are trying to limit the number of guests entering the lodge.

o MINIMAL PHYSICAL CONTACT POLICY: Your instructor will follow this policy which unfortunately includes no hugging, minimal clothing adjustments, no nose wiping, no hand shaking, and minimal touching and more… They will use other enthusiastic methods and body language for teaching!

o CHAIRLIFTS: If your child is age 3-7, the Instructor will need to physically touch your child for assistance on the chairlift. The Instructor will be wearing the appropriate PPE. If your child is age 8 and up, they will be taught by the instructor how to use the chairlift starting with the baby chair. Children will be riding the chairlift with their skiing cohort group only. Parents in the Line ups as well as Lift Attendants may be involved in assisting your child.

o PHYSICAL ASSISTANCE ON THE SLOPES: Your child may also require physical assistance on the slopes in the case of falls, and for moving around the slopes. The Instructor will be wearing the appropriate PPE when assisting.

o INSTRUCTOR PPE: Instructors will be required to wear face, hand and eye coverings. Please note: The Instructors may need to remove a covering to clearly speak to a child needing assistance or instruction.

o PHYSICAL DISTANCING WHILE SKIING: Physical distancing within a lesson group may not be possible at all times. Instructors will attempt to physically distance as much as possible from other groups during the lesson time.

o ILLNESS DURING THE LESSON: If your child becomes ill during the lesson, your child will be removed from the lesson, you will be called immediately and you must go home and isolate. All other members of the lesson group will be informed. If you are uncertain of your symptoms, use the Government on-line self-assessment test at (https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/) or Telehealth at 1-866-797-0000 for further guidance and to determine if you can come skiing on your next lesson day or if a Covid test is required. Please contact the Snow School with an update within 24 hours. Contact tracing will begin if a positive test result is confirmed.

o REFUND POLICY IF DAGMAR RESORT LTD. MUST SHUT-DOWN DURING THE 8-WEEK PROGRAMS DUE TO COVID-19: Please view www.skidagmar.com for all details of the Covid-19 refund policy.

o OTHER GENERAL LESSON POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: All other non-Covid related lesson policies and procedures (including make-up classes, refund policies and lesson operations) can be found on the web-site and on your confirmation letter. Please carefully read and understand these policies prior to the first day of your lesson program!!

COVID-19 presents us with an unprecedented situation and the wellness of our guests and staff is of paramount priority. We have developed new policies to elevate our existing high standards of hygiene and cleanliness procedures.

We want you to enjoy everything the hill has to offer and to feel safe comfortable and confident during your visit.

The North American Ski Industry and its partners have put together some guidelines for the upcoming winter and Dagmar Resort is committed to following these guidelines along with the Government and Health Department’s course of action.

What to Expect When Arriving at Dagmar: The measures we have enacted to help ensure your safety and customer procedures.

Physical Distancing
• We have reduced seating throughout the chalet to allow for proper physical distancing.
• Plexiglass barriers have been installed at pertinent locations.
• Physical distancing reminder signage has been placed around the resort.
Eliminating Touch Points
• We strongly encourage contact-less payment methods.
• Lift Tickets, Rentals, Season Passes & Programs for activities are available for pre-purchase online, this is the recommended method to purchase.
Parking
• Once you find a parking spot, your vehicle will serve as your base-camp. Be dressed and ready to ski.
• Prepare to be outdoors for the majority of your visit and dress appropriately for the weather.
• Please use your car as much as possible for changing clothing and equipment and eating your packed lunch. Please do not litter your garbage onto the parking lot.
• Please ensure when you are parked, that you keep the 2 meter distance between your vehicle and its occupants and another vehicle and their occupants. Wait until the neighbouring occupants have left the area prior to exiting your vehicle to maintain physical distancing.

Office
• Cashless payment methods available and preferred
• Pass pickup should be done prior to opening, once you receive your confirmed for pickup email please make arrangements to do so.
• Last minute pass pick-ups will generate long delays and distanced line-ups.
• Pass Photos will no longer be taken in-house. PLEASE UPLOAD YOUR PHOTO WHEN PURCHASING A PASS OR EMAIL IMMEDIATELY AFTER.
• We are not able to process photos sent in less than 2 weeks prior to opening. You must send in your photo within 2 weeks after purchase.
• Online bookings – If it’s necessary to take your photo, there will be a fee of $15.00 per photo.

Chalet Indoors
• Physical Distancing and occupancy capacities will be followed, expect longer than normal line ups.
• Sanitize hands before entering the lodge. Hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed throughout Dagmar.
• Face Masks, when entering the chalet, Dagmar guests and employees will be required to wear a face covering while on Dagmar premises, in public places, with the exception being while eating in designated areas.
• You must remain in your social circle as a skiing family or your social bubble.
• We will be limiting the number of people at all locations within the chalet.
• Only 1 visiting family member for viewing per child will be permitted this season due to strict capacity restrictions and may be time-limited.
• Unfortunately, there will be no extra viewing for extended family members and friends.
• The chalet is available for purchasing food & beverages, gift shop items,
• There is a no return and no refund policy for any purchased items.
• The chalet is available for customers to use the washroom and for rental equipment pick up.
• Chalet capacity will be very limited this season and reservations may be required.
• Please DO NOT enter table seating areas and seat yourself; you may be escorted to appropriately sanitized tables to enjoy your purchased food & beverage.

Getting Ready to Ski or Snowboard
• BASE CAMP will be your car this season; please get ready to ski or snowboard using your vehicle. Leave your belongings in your vehicle. Please do not litter garbage from your vehicle
• Bags, backpacks and lunches will NOT be permitted in the Chalet.
• Dress for the weather as chalet may be at capacity and you may have to remain outside
• There may be minimal areas inside the chalet to get dressed to go outside, (first come first served and used only if necessary)
• Daily Locker Rentals and limited shelving will be available on a first come first served basis, if necessary.
• A quick warm-up and change room will be available on weekends at the West Chalet, time limit of 10 minutes.
• Wear your face mask or covering. If you forget, there will masks available for sale at the entrance door and gift shop.
• Maintain your Social Distance – Guests are requested to maintain 2 meter physical distance.
• Guests who live together will be allowed to ride lifts together while others will need to physically distance and refrain from being in large groups.
Purchasing Lift Tickets, Rentals and Lesson Check-In
• Guests may pre-purchase ONLINE same-day lift tickets and rentals. Products may be limited online.
• Onsite sales may be limited, due to resort capacity limits.
• Line ups will adhere to physical distancing between individuals or between individual households and cohorts.
• Prepare for above normal physically distanced line-ups.
• Please arrive a minimum of one hour prior to any scheduled lesson and earlier if renting equipment.
• We may require all guests, including pass holders, to “sign-in” for contact tracing purpose
• Dagmar team members will be present to manage line-ups & communications.

Snow School Lessons & Programs
• Physical Distancing between instructors and participants will be adhered to. However, when it cannot be achieved during a lesson: Use of PPE, face coverings, goggles, and gloves for winter are required.
• If a participant develops symptoms while in the program, the participant should be isolated until others in family or visitor group have been notified.
• Dress for the weather as the chalet may be at capacity and you may have to remain outside. Please use your vehicle as your BASE CAMP this season
• Please refer and read carefully to the Covid-19 Protocol Policy set by My Snow School

Equipment Rental & Guest Use of Rentals
• The rental facility will abide by physical distancing and cleaning protocols.
• Hand sanitation stations will be available at high touch points areas (boot areas, helmet areas, and counter spaces).
• Staff will wear PPE and/ or face shields.
• Equipment rented for 8 Week Programs will be pre-set and ready for 2nd day of programs.
• Prepare for above normal physically distanced line-ups while getting your rentals.
• To reduce the possibility of cross contamination, separate areas for pick up and returns may be provided.
• Returned rentals will be disinfected before being placed back into service.

Food and Beverage
• Cashless payment methods available and are preferred.
• Enhanced cleaning of high touch surfaces and equipment is being implemented.
• Outdoor picnic areas are available.
• Take-out is available.
• Tables will be secured for Dagmar food and beverage purchases only.
• You may be escorted to appropriately sanitized tables to enjoy your food.
• Time limits may be in effect and may require you to call for reservations.
• Homemade meals, bagged lunches or food not purchased from our cafeteria is NOT allowed in chalet due to government restrictions and limited seating capacity.
• Please eat your lunch/dinner in your car and please do not litter.

Lift Operations
• Lift line-ups will be structured safely to maintain physical distancing.
• Guests who live together and are in their social or family bubble will be allowed to ride lifts together.
• Prepare for above normal physically distanced line-ups.
• Use of non-medical face coverings will be required while lining up and using lifts.
• Disinfecting measures for lift carriers and stations may vary based on practicality, and weather conditions.
• Team members will be required to wear PPE to protect themselves and our guests.

Hill Access
• May be strictly enforced to control access only to pass holders, valid ticket holders and booked lessons.
• Persons without a valid ticket will not be permitted on the hill.
• There is a limited number of people permitted on the snow, everyone must have a valid ticket.
• If one parent wishes to be on the snow with their child, they must purchase a walking on snow ticket and abide by the Alpine Responsibility Code.

Outdoors and Physical Distancing While Skiing:
• The great news is skiing and snowboarding is a socially distanced outdoor sport!
• Open outdoor spaces in the fresh air is mentally and physically invigorating and healthy.
• Your main skiing attire already consists of face covering, goggles and gloves.
• Dagmar guests and employees will be required to wear a face covering while on Dagmar premises when using lifts, while skiing and snowboarding and in public places.
• Physical distancing within a lesson group such as a Discover may not be possible at all times. Instructors will attempt to physically distance as much as possible from other groups during these times.

Washroom Use
• Signage is placed in washrooms to advise guests of appropriate physical distancing, proper hand washing and waste disposal techniques.
• Washrooms will have restricted capacities based on maintaining physical distancing.
• Frequent cleaning & disinfection of washrooms is scheduled, depending on occupancy loads.
• Dagmar team members may be present to manage line-ups & communications.
Cleaning
• Enhanced cleaning protocols will be implemented throughout our resort, with additional focus on our cafeteria, high traffic and high contact areas.
• The virus which causes COVID-19 may be lessened by routine surface cleaning and our team members are committed to cleaning throughout the resort.
• Ecolab is the leader in hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services. Dagmar will be involved with the Ecolab Science Certified Program and staff will be trained by Ecolab professionals.

Screening and Guest Wellness Responsibilities:
• Stay informed on Covid-19 information and updates.
• Feeling ill; you must not visit if you are feeling ill and are uncertain of your symptoms, use the Government on-line self-assessment test at (https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/) or Telehealth at 1-866-797-0000 for further guidance and to determine if you can come skiing or if a Covid-19 test is required.
• Frequent Hand washing and sanitization is necessary. Use hand washing/sanitizing stations provided.
• Practice physical distancing of 2 metres between non-household members.
• Mask wearing is mandatory while indoors and must be worn outdoors when physical distancing of 2 meters is not available.
• Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose and mouth.
• Follow all signage and directional signs at Dagmar Resort and physical distance markers on the floors.
• Clean personal sports equipment frequently and wash PPE.

Respect the Rules:
• Clients are reminded that changes to our operating plan may be required as the situation changes.
• We believe the most critical element to having a successful season at Dagmar will be the willingness of customers to fully comply with physical distancing, face covering and similar requirements and respect the changes to the usual social interactions at Dagmar that are essential.
• Please be respectful of each other’s time. We are all in this together and working together.
• If you do not follow all hygiene, face-covering and physical distancing guidelines, you may respectfully be asked to leave the resort.

Quick-Check List before Visiting Dagmar
Please be advised that at any given time:

1. Dagmar may change the hours of operation or close unexpectedly due to the continuously changing conditions and challenges of COVID-19.
2. Always call ahead, check on social media or our website on capacity limits & additional updates.
3. We may limit the daily number of guests indoors and outdoors.
4. We may limit the number of daily non skiing guests.
5. There is a limited number of people permitted on the snow, everyone must have a valid ticket, if one parent wishes to be on the snow with their child, they must purchase a walking on snow ticket and abide by the Alpine Responsibility Code
6. We may require all guests, including pass holders, to “sign-in” for contact tracing purpose
7. To help manage capacity at Dagmar, access to Dagmar may be granted with a confirmed reservation and/or a pre-purchased pass, lesson or program.
8. Without a reservation or a program pass you may be asked to visit on another day should DAGMAR be at capacity.
9. Chalet access will be reduced or restricted.
10. Base Lodge is your car, please arrive dressed & prepared to hit the slopes
11. The bathrooms will be accessible, there may be long waits during certain time and days
12. The restaurant will be accessible with a limited menu. there may be long waits during certain time and days
13. The coffee and lounge bar will be accessible with the gift-shop selling basic necessities.
14. You must NOT bring any food into the chalet or personal belongings into the chalet
15. There will be no indoor viewing, a 10 minute warm-up on very cold days.
16. Limited seating inside at the tables will be for restaurant and bar patrons which will be time limited. Picnic tables will also be available outside for your food purchases.
17. Purchase products online. The outside ticket windows will be accessible & onsite sales may be limited.
18. Clear markings of door entry and exit please abide by them
19. Please pick up your pass once you receive confirmation that it is ready
20. Pictures – For passes & program you need to email photos to us a minimum of 2 weeks prior to opening. We are unable process last minute photos.
21. Dagmar will no longer be taking photos. A $15.00 per person charge will be added if a photo needs to be taken.
