LESSON CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULE POLICY

7-Week Program Lessons

Refunds or Credit:

Requests made a minimum of three (3) weeks prior to your program start date will receive either:

  • A 90% refund, or
  • A 100% credit toward the following season.

After the program has begun, refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances (e.g., injury) and supported by a doctor’s note. If approved, a prorated refund or credit may be issued, less an administrative fee.

Requests must be submitted in writing and confirmed by Snow School in writing.

Daily Private / Semi-Private Lessons

Cancellations & Changes:

  • 24+ hours notice: No charge to cancel or reschedule.
  • Less than 24 hours notice: $60 cancellation/rescheduling fee will apply.
  • No-shows or late arrivals: Full lesson fee will be charged to your credit card provided and considered as lesson received.
  • Private/Semi-Private Lessons can be rescheduled (subject to availability).

When you book a lesson, your instructor is scheduled just for you. Late arrivals or no-shows mean your instructor loses pay and someone else misses a chance to take that spot.

Group Lesson Requirements:

    • Participants must meet the minimum age requirement for their group on the first day of lessons.
    • Participants must be able to follow group instruction and safely interact in a group setting without one-on-one support.
    • If a learner cannot partake successfully in a group setting, they may be moved to private lessons subject to availability and at regular private lesson rates.

Weather & Lesson Conditions:

      • All lessons proceed regardless of weather conditions including wet and cold.
      • We do not offer make-up classes, day switches, or discounts for missed lessons.
      • In the rare event Dagmar is closed due to power outages or weather-related circumstances: updates will be posted on our website, social media, and phone line. We are unable to notify each participant individually.

Reminders:

      • All participants must sign a “Release of Liability” waiver at the time of booking.
      • Helmets are mandatory for all Snow School lessons.
      • Please arrive early, a minimum of 45-60 minutes as you need to purchase your lift ticket and rentals, when paying for your lesson as Customer Service.
      • Allow enough time to have your equipment fitted especially on busy weekends and holidays.
      • Lessons begin promptly at the scheduled time and cannot be extended due to late arrivals.
      • There are no spectators permitted on the snow.

❤ Why These Policies Matters

We understand that plans can change. Please review the policies for both Groups, Programs and Private/Semi-Private lessons before registering. Every lesson involves advance scheduling of instructors, hill space, and resources. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows hurt our ability to operate smoothly and fairly.

Thank you for respecting our team’s time and commitment.
