Special Needs and Accommodations:

To help ensure a safe and successful experience, we ask that any additional or adaptive support needs be disclosed during registration. This allows us to assess how best to accommodate individual needs and determine if our setting is appropriate.
NOTE: Our instructors hold a minimum Level 1 certified CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructor's Alliance) and CASI (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors). However, they are not CADS certified in adaptive skiing and snowboarding and they do not hold other certifications in teaching individuals with special needs. For specialized instructions, we recommend CADS Ontario, which has eight partner locations across the province. https://cadsontario.ca.

If support needs are identified, we will follow up. We are happy to help by:

  • -Collaborating with guests or guardians to identify support needs
  • -Assisting in developing a safe ski/snowboard plan
  • -Encouraging a guardian or support person to be present on or near the slopes
  • -Offering private or flexible lessons (at standard rates)
  • -Assigning consistent instructors when possible
  • -Helping with equipment fitting and rentals
  • -Suggesting quieter times to ski and snowboard
  • -Referring to ski hills with CADS-certified adaptive instructors
  • Safety is our top priority. In some cases, we may need to modify, decline or cancel a booking if we cannot safely meet a guest's needs. These decisions are made with care and safety in mind.
  • Respectful communication is expected at all times. Let's work together to create a safe and positive experience for everyone at our resort.
